So after we stopped in see you last week, Oasis has been thinking about how to use the yellow filament for the 3doodler.
As we spoke about, I cut many pieces and we tried to melt them to fit and be like the other 3doodlr plastics they sell. It didn't work. I found one online blog where it said ninjaflex works. Also the 3ddoodler website says try conductive paint!!! Which opens up all kinds of possibilities and wold be a fun hack.
****SOLUTION: Oasis sat down with the long stand of filament still left and found a way with pressure and height to work with filament you gave us!!!!!!!!!****
The doodler is set on PLA. Oasis is now having a very similar experience with both filaments. I'm not sure of any long term effects in the doodler.
We discussed in the last meeting looking up the type of motors for the lamp. Oasis says she's been thinking about it but she wanted to figure out if the lamp was possible with the budget or if a new idea was needed.
Looks like we'll be in soon for the yellow and have ideas on motor.
